Welcome to the Dabringhaus Group!

We are a newly established research group at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at Heidelberg University! Our research focuses on the development of redox-active main-group element complexes to explore novel reactivies and stuy novel bonding motives.for small-molecule activiation and redox catalysis. Here, we are interested in exploring ligand-element and element-element cooperativities to tune and to stimulate the reactivity of the active p-block element. Our work-flow combines synthetic chemistry with the design and analysis of molecules by density-functional theory methods!
